About Roche Angling Club
Roche Angling Club is proud to offer another season of coaching sessions aimed specifically at helping youngsters have a go at fishing in a safe environment. With six fantastic fisheries in the St Austell area the Club has a little something for everyone.RAC was formed in 1964 in the village of Roche , hence the name, as a sea angling club. It was not long before freshwater course fishing and game fishing were included in the club activities. The club is now mainly a course fishing club owning four waters and managing two others.
Over the last four years RAC has helped dozens or people catch their first fish and embark on one of the greatest hobbies on earth. We hope you might be the next!
FREE
These events are completely free to our guests as we supply the fishing tackle, bait and expertise at no cost. All you need to bring is enthusiasm, some suitable clothes for an outdoor environment and perhaps a little patience. The Sessions
We allow 2 – 3 hours per session as this gives enough time to get the fish to bite but isn’t too long to take up the whole day. Participants can expect to be shown how to safely bait a hook, cast, strike, bring in your catch, safely unhook it and return it unharmed.Session dates We offer coaching session during the summer months on the dates below.
