Christmas Match 2007
The Christmas Match was won this year by Nigel Sanders on
a cold and windy December day. Well done to Nigel for a good bag of silver
fish in difficult condition, fishing the slider to 26 feet !
The bones were kept warm throughout the day with hot
drinks, bacon rolls, hot dogs and the odd nip of the medicinal liquid !
At the end of the match the day was finished of with hot
stew, new potatoes and veg, backed up with Swiss role and custard washed
down with a swig of sparkling wine.
I am sure the match boys would like to thank Kelvin, the
match section sec for his great cooking endeavours.
